The HFC-134a is an internationally recognized ideal and preferred substitute for a Freon (CFC) refrigerant. It has the features of low Ozone Depression Potential (ODP), high safety, no toxin, insusceptibility to combustion, etc.


    The product can be applied to many fields using CFC-12, such as refrigeration, polymer foaming and aerosol products. At present, it is mainly applied to automotive air conditioning, household appliances, small-size fixed refrigerating equipment, middle-temperature refrigerating in supermarkets and refrigerators in industry and commerce.


    Because the HFC-134a has the features of low toxicity and difficult combustion, it is studied that the HFC-134a is used as a carrier of medicinal inhalants. The product can also be used for aerosols having high requirements on toxicity and flammability.
